2017 CREATURE WEEKEND SPEAKERS
Check back for news and updates on the 2017 Creature Weekend Speakers
Adam Davies
Whether you call him an Explorer, Adventurer or Cryptozoologist, there is no one alive today who has done more active fieldwork to prove the existence of yet-to-be-discovered animals, frequently in remote and sometimes dangerous parts of the world. From the dense jungles of the Congo and Sumatra, to the Deserts of Mongolia, and the Mountains of Nepal, Adam has traveled the world in search of scientific evidence of the existence of these creatures.
Notably, Adam has achieved unique results in his research. Expeditions which he has either led or been a key part of have gotten excellent results. Examples include the Orang-Pendek in Sumatra, Sasquatch, the Yeren in China, and the Seljord Serpent in Norway.
Adam has appeared on numerous television programs and channels, including the National Geographic channel, The Discovery Channel, History Channel’s Monster Quest, and Animal Planet’s Finding Bigfoot, to name just a few. The majority of Adam’s research and expeditions have been self-financed and he devotes the much of his spare time to his passion of discovering the world’s mystery animals. Until such time as he can devote himself full-time to cryptozoology, Adam is presently employed by the British government (he’s a secret agent — Sshh! Don’t tell!).

Todd Neiss
“Eyewitness turned researcher, Todd Neiss has spent over 24 years researching the Bigfoot phenomenon and is recognized world-wide as one of the top researchers in the field. President and founder of the non-profit organization, the American Primate Conservancy, whose mission statement is: “The Discovery, Research, Knowledge, Recognition and Protection of the creatures known as Bigfoot or Sasquatch.”
In 1993, while conducting military training in the Oregon Coast Range, Neiss encountered three of these elusive giants. A former skeptic, Neiss’ life was forever changed that day.
Since then, he has conducted numerous expeditions and investigations with some of the leading experts in the field. Most recently, the American Primate Conservancy sponsored a full-scale expedition in the Broughton Archipelago; a cluster of uninhabited islands between the British Columbian mainland and Vancouver Island. Dubbed “Operation: Sea Monkey,” Todd assembled a renowned team of researchers for a 6-day excursion to explore these remote islands to search for evidence of Bigfoot.
Along with his wife and research partner, Diane Stocking Neiss, Todd hosts an annual, invitation-only, gathering of international researchers known as “Beachfoot.” This year will marked their 10th anniversary of this unique private affair.
Todd and Diane ultimately plan on building a world-class “Bigfoot Interpretive Center” somewhere in the Pacific Northwest. This facility will house a museum, auditorium, conference center, laboratory, class rooms, exhibit hall and interactive displays.
Currently, Todd is serving as an Active Duty Soldier in the United States Army and is a Veteran of the Iraq War.
Today Todd will discuss "The Shifting Paradigm in Modern Bigfoot Research."

Tom Sewid
“I am a Kwakwaka’wakw and Cree Indian from Vancouver Island northeast who has led a life as a commercial fisherman and bushman. I have been a pioneer of orca tours, grizzly bear viewing adventures and sea kayak expeditions. I was a commercial hunting guide for over 20 years specializing in guiding black and grizzly bear hunts.
Living in the coastal wilds of British Columbia most of my adult life I had numerous encounters with what my native people call Tzoonakwa, Sasquatch/Bigfoot. Approaching Dr. John Bindernagel in the early 1990’s, I started on my path to be a leading North American Indian Bigfoot researcher.”
